We are thrilled to launch the new Interreg North Sea website, improving your online North Sea experience.
From now on, this is your go-to place for news and events from the Interreg North Sea Programme.
With this new platform, we want to enhance our digital presence in the Interreg VIB (2021-2027) period and beyond.
The site has been designed with all users in mind - applicants, projects, and the wider North Sea community. One of its core aims is to provide easy-to-find help for projects and applicants. It also features a new partner search platform for project developers to find partners.
The site will host the websites of projects approved in the new programme, using a common window of display to create synergies for them all.
In addition, it features achievements of projects approved in the previous funding period (2014-2020). This makes their tremendous work more visible, boosting the uptake of the tools and solutions they have developed.
A new look and feel
Times are changing, and so are we. This website reflects a new visual identity inspired by the North Sea. Even our mascot, the North Sea Starfish, has had a makeover!
We have also shortened our name to Interreg North Sea (we have lost “Region”). This is why this website uses Interregnorthsea.eu for its homepage.
The previous website will stay online at northsearegion.eu until the end of 2029, so the embedded project websites remain accessible.
No cookies tracking personal data
Did you wonder why you were not asked for cookie consent on this site?
This is because we are using cookieless tracking to better protect our visitors' privacy. In fact, we only use a single cookie which is critical for the site’s performance and does not track any personal data.
A cooperation project
We fund cooperation across borders. So, it seems fitting that this website was brought to life in a close cooperation between the Joint Secretariat in Denmark and skilled partners based in other parts of Europe.
The new website and visual identity were developed by Netcompany-Intrasoft headquartered in Luxembourg, the UK-based specialist Lucy Pollard, and the web agency Point Blank located in Greece. Apogee Information Systems (also hailing from Greece) is managing our Germany-based webhosting.
In the coming months, we will add more content and work with our partners to improve the site further.
For now, happy browsing!
