GRIT

THE GRIT-project ran from January 1st, 2024 until June 30th, 2025. Within this timeframe, project partners from Hamburg, Antwerp and Groningen tried to find solutions for the lack of skilled technician available to make the green industrial transition. Read all about the solutions and strategies we came up with on this website.

Welcome to the website of the GRIT-project

The GRIT project has come to a close, but its results continue to live on.
Over the past years, partners from across the North Sea region have worked together to prepare our workforce and education systems for the green industrial transition. The outcomes — from innovative VET modules to engaging youth programs and regional roadmaps — are now freely available for everyone who wants to build on GRIT’s work.

On this website, you can explore and download everything you need to use, adapt, or implement GRIT tools and materials in your own region or school:

  • VET Module – practical training package for EQF 4 technicians on hydrogen
  • Youth Engagement Program – gamified learning concept inspiring future technicians for the green energy transition
  • Roadmap & Reports– interregional framework for green skills development
  • Pilots– discover how GRIT partners tested and refined the tools in real-life settings across the North Sea region. Learn from their experiences, feedback, and practical examples to guide your own implementation.
  • Project Library - gain direct access to a complete set of all of our outputs

GRIT may be completed as a project, but its mission continues — supporting teachers, trainers, and regional actors in shaping a sustainable industrial future.
