About us
Why Cool Cities?
Rising temperatures pose a significant challenge to urban areas, impacting both livability and public health. To combat heat stress and create cooler, more resilient cities, we are developing Cool Network routes in seven Northern European cities. Our key deliverable is a comprehensive roadmap—a step-by-step guide on how to achieve a heat-resilient city. This roadmap will be an invaluable tool for any city looking to develop and implement effective climate adaptation strategies.
A collaborative approach
Cool Cities brings together a diverse group of public authorities, sectoral agencies, and knowledge institutions to co-create innovative climate adaptation strategies. Each partner brings unique expertise and fresh perspectives, ensuring a dynamic and impactful collaboration to address heat resilience in urban environments. Check out all the partners.
