The programme included technical presentations from CEA and CETIM, and presentations from the highly innovative companies Construction-3D and Farm-3D!
The event was rich in exchanges between additive manufacturing specialists. Here are a few key moments:
- Presentation of in-situ control techniques for different printing processes with the CEA: advances in fussion on a metal powder bed and deposition under energy flow.
- Focus on defect detection by acoustic inspection with CETIM: a detailed presentation on crack detection during printing.
- Discussions on monitoring and guaranteeing conditions of use with Farm-3D: how to ensure that printed parts comply with qualifications thanks to advanced monitoring.
The day ended with an inspiring visit to the Citadelle des Savoir-Faire, where innovation and 3D printing are in the spotlight!
