On December 4, SHARE-North Squared hosted its third webinar in our webinar series. This time our focus was on the role that shared mobility can play in affordable housing. Housing Europe, one of our partners in our Interreg North Sea Region project, helped organize this webinar by tapping into their network of housing companies.
The guests were Michael Johansson from Lund University and Björn Berggren from Sveriges Allmännytta (Public Housing Sweden). Rebecca Karbaumer from the city of Bremen moderated the webinar.
Our first guest, Michael Johansson discusses the cost of parking for affordable housing and tries to bust some of the most persistent myths about parking.
Next up, Björn Berggren talks about the potential for a new mobility paradigm in public housing in Sweden. He introduces the system of social housing companies in Sweden in comparison to other national systems, discusses the MobilitetsKakylatorn and talks about the three-step approach to mobility for all.
If you missed it, you can find the recording below! All the presentations from the webinar can also be found below.
But don't be too sad, because next year we will be having 3 more webinars. Register for our newsletter or find us on LinkedIn so you don't miss our next one!
