About us
Created in 1997, the Communauté de Communes du Pays de Lumbres (CCPL) is a group of 36 municipalities and 24 000 inhabitants, located in the Hauts de France. Its role is to federate these municipalities within a space of solidarity, to pool their ressources in order to develop and implement a common and coherent territorial project to serve the development. Therefore it is a form of cooperation between the municipalities of a same territory, the Pays de Lumbres.
The Communauté de Communes du Pays de Lumbres deals with several daily life topics : urban plan, tourism, employment, family, housing, green transition, culture, mobility, health, economic devlopment and flood prevention.
The creation of the CCPL's hub, within the public house of services, is a part of the intermuncipal strategy in order to favor citizen consultation, collect the inhabitants's voice and built territorial projects linked to the green transition and coherent with the needs of the local population.
