As summer approaches, we recently held an online partnership meeting to reflect on a busy spring that among others included our yearly partnership conference, - this time hosted by Stenvad Mosebrugscenter, workshops, the premiere of our e-learning course, a hub survey, and various activities across our work packages.
SIRR remains a dynamic project, evolving continuously. Through internal and cross-partner dialogue and results from our Work Package activities, we are discovering new opportunities and expanding activities across our hubs. Currently, we are in the planning phase and eagerly anticipating the next stage: Thematic Working Groups.
Our hubs all face similar challenges inherent to coastal and rural living. Post-summer, our hubs will be organised into focused working groups centered around the following themes:
Thematic working groups:
- Young people: Attracting and retaining talent in rural areas
- Organisational development of the hubs
- Importance of physical, digital and hybrid meeting places/platforms
- Storytelling and communications
- Identity, culture, and historical perspectives in hub development
- Land use management and regulations
- Aligning international project activities with regional stakeholders
- Fostering future competencies by means of informal learning
Work Package 3 will support these working groups by providing relevant expertise and facilitating knowledge exchange among them.
We are passionate about continuing the important work of driving development in our local communities through broad cross-sector collaboration, mobilising all the good forces that wish to strengthen the togetherness and viability of our local communities
