Expanding shared mobility to suburban and rural areas

Wouter Slob and Eric van Dijk, representing the lead partner Province of Utrecht, participated in another session focused on the challenges and opportunities of implementing shared mobility in suburban and rural areas. They highlighted Utrecht's pioneering efforts to unify its transport ecosystem by integrating shared mobility solutions with public transport. Their presentation showcased the action plans being developed through ShareDiMobiHub, illustrating the project’s role in creating accessible, multimodal transport systems beyond urban centres.

Engaging at the POLIS stand

Beyond the sessions, ShareDiMobiHub had a strong presence at the POLIS stand, where attendees could explore project materials and engage with POLIS colleagues. This provided a platform to discuss how the project is contributing to the European mobility landscape and supporting city and regional partners in advancing shared and digital mobility solutions.

The POLIS 2024 Conference was an excellent opportunity for ShareDiMobiHub to demonstrate its impact at the local, regional, and European levels, fostering dialogue and collaboration with key stakeholders in the transport sector.
