Through involvement of citizens, Region Midtjylland wants to get a better understanding of questions like: Can we combine different types of transport (public and private), to transport people in new and more flexible ways? How can we best promote local capacity building in ‘infrastructure’?
the pilot takes place in two living labs in Djursland & Herning (< 3.000 inhabitants). It seems vital to have a positive dialogue with citizens in order to understand their needs and motivation for achieving more sustainable mobility solutions. In terms of rural-urban linkages, we aim to motivate citizens in villages to change behaviour regarding the use of car.
