Lighthouse Papenburg

Papenburg is a city in the district of Emsland, Lower Saxony, Germany, situated at the river Ems. The name 'Papenburg' is based on the large shipyard, the Meyer-Werft, where impressive cruise liners are built. The city has close to 39,000 inhabitants.  Next to taking care of its historic ships laying in the city canals, the municipality is also committed to combat the effects of climate change by setting up a Green Team.
