Middelburg is a city and municipality in the Netherlands and serves as the capital of the province of Zeeland. It has a population of 50,000 inhabitants. It's rich history can still be felt today, as the city centre counts more than 1100 monuments.
Our colleagues at the municipality of Middelburg strive to make to make the city even more green and climate adaptive. They are very committed to creating a Green Team within their organisation.
Additionally, they are also leading the Interreg North-West project Cool Neighbourhoods to counter heat risks at a hyperlocal level.
