Landkreis Emsland is a district in Lower Saxony, Germany named after the river Ems. It houses over 338,000 inhabitants in an area of 2,881 km2. Emsland offers a diverse landscape full of idyllic villages, forests, rivers, hills, moors and even prehistoric graves.
