EXPBIO

Building upon the goals outlined in the EXPBIO project, the initiative involves eight collaborative partners from the North Sea Region, dedicated to advancing plant biodiversity and ecosystem restoration. Central to this mission is the reinforcement of regional soil seed banks and the creation and testing of novel seed mixes, tailored to enhance both urban and rural ecological landscapes. The project also places a strong emphasis on community involvement, seeking to deepen public understanding and participation in biodiversity conservation through targeted education programs and citizen science efforts

The project was approved in October 2023.
