In June 2024, the TV team from ZDF Germany visited AWI in Bremen. Together they visited the Weserwehr and accompanied the construction of the first mobile crab trap in Bremen....

Today, on the 29th of May the first trap in Germany, was put into operation in Bremerhaven. It is intended to prevent the migration of mitten crabs into a nature reserve upstream. How many mitten crabs will we catch within the first year (by 31st of May 2025)? Take a guess and win an official Clancy...
