Rotterdam - Lead Partner
Within BRAVE, The City of Rotterdam will build on its flagship regional start-up subsidy programme “Smart Energy Systems” by integrating up to €10m of new private investment through new partnerships with local financiers. The programme is dedicated to innovations tackling the energy transition, connecting it directly to the city’s climate goal of being climate-neutral by 2050.

Aarhus
Within BRAVE, Aarhus will develop its business readiness to deploy 71,000m² of rooftop solar panels on municipal buildings, as a lever towards the broader development of positive energy districts (PED) in Aarhus and in other municipalities. These solar panels and the principles learned from their roll-out will support a long-term financial strategy for clean energy generation across the city, led by a small and ambitious team working within the city’s municipal government Environment department.

BOM
Brabant's regional Business Support Organisation "BOM" will identify the business conditions required to crowd-in €30m new investment for scaling-up an industrial hydrogen hub model across the region. Findings will inform a regional replication plan and support national hydrogen strategy more broadly.

C2DE
The market-making model focuses on public investment electrical buses for low-carbon buses and infrastructure. CD2E together with Pôle MEDEE are looking to build upon the successful case of Amiens Metropole (which secured funding for €130m in bus infrastructure investment) for delivery in other regions in France, and with broader lessons for Europe.

Cambridge Cleantech
BRAVE findings will contribute to CCI’s ongoing ClimateTech Supercluster development, enabling CCI to adopt a leading role in developing innovative public-private strategies for scaling cleantech, and leader in business readiness development for European cleantech SMEs

Cleantech Scandinavia

The pilot aims to optimize results for PV, battery storage, and EV charging, and ultimately for a smart local energy system and an energy community.

Pôle MEDEE
The market-making model focuses on public investment electrical buses for low-carbon buses and infrastructure. Pôle MEDEE together with CD2E are looking to build upon the successful case of Amiens Metropole (which secured funding for €130m in bus infrastructure investment) for delivery in other regions in France, and with broader lessons for Europe.

University of South-Eastern Norway

Additionally, USN has experience in working with public-private partnerships and developing sustainable business models for local energy solutions.

hannoverimpuls
hannoverimpuls will work on the roll-out of Energy Management Systems (EMS) in multi-tenant housing in the city of Hannover.
