BIOZE Midterm meeting energizes bioenergy collaboration in Lathen !

It was a productive and exciting midterm meeting for BIOZE, organized in Lathen in Germany, near the location of the headquarters of 3N, the German partner. The partners made great progress on the tools design, and got to try out a digital mapping tool from the University of Twente that shows the potential of solar and wind energy for a specific territory.

They also had the opportunity to visit two impressive bioenergy facilities: a biomass boiler plant that uses local shredded wood, and a biogas plant that generates electricity and feeds the same 80 km-long heating network as the biomass boiler. BIOZE is on track to achieve its goals and contribute to a greener future!
