On May 31st, the STORM_SAFE project team gathered for a productive in-person meeting at the Emsperrwerk in in Moormerland, Germany. This meeting provided an excellent opportunity for team members to connect, share updates, and discuss strategies to advance the project's goals.
Our hosts, Mr. Jörn Drosten and Ms. Danela Janssen from NLWKN (Lower Saxony Water Management, Coastal Protection and Nature Conservation Agency), welcomed everyone. Following this, we started with a comprehensive overview of the project's progress, highlighting resent progress and key achievements.
A significant portion of the meeting focused on exploring the connections between the four work packages and brainstorming approaches to further enhance the project's impact. Under the leadership of the work package leaders and project manager, team members actively engaged in discussions, sharing their thoughts and perspectives. This collaboration generated valuable ideas to ensure the project's success in the coming years.
The meeting concluded with a renewed sense of commitment and enthusiasm among the team members. The STORM_SAFE project team is confident that the insights and strategies gained from this gathering will propel the project forward and contribute to its success.
