The SELECT project gathers local and regional authorities together with business support organizations from the Netherlands, Belgium, Germany, Denmark, and Sweden. The partners will work to explore prerequisites for supplying electric light and heavy-duty fleets with sufficient power and energy at logistics terminals and public locations, and to explore potential new services enabled by digital solutions, and governance structures needed to support the transition.
As part of the work, the SELECT project partners are exploring the role that public actors have in supporting the electric transition in logistics.
During this workshop we will explore explore the role of public actors, look at differences and similarties between countries, get inspired by different initiatives and discuss what the progress looks like within the different countries and drive the development in a way that is frutiful for several actors, cross-border.
Presenting inspirational initiatives are:
- Heavy Duty Charging in the Netherlands – Tim Frikkee, LOLA
- Electrification of City Fleet – Veerle De Meyer, City of Mechelen
- Heavy Duty Charging in Hamburg – Marvin Coböken, hySolutions
- The role of cities – Tanjamaria Ballhorn, City of Copenhagen
