Upon request, a lecture was given by Steven De Tollenaere from Vives University at the Hydrogen Academy organized by WaterstofNet. WaterstofNet is a knowledge center and networking platform for various stakeholders in Belgium's hydrogen industry. In the Hydrogen Academy, WaterstofNet organizes six training evenings during which specialized speakers provide insights into existing and future hydrogen applications, as well as policies and regulations related to hydrogen for businesses and government agencies.
Steven's lecture focused on the ins and outs of fuel cells. It provided an explanation of the operation and types of fuel cells, while also giving a brief overview of ongoing research related to CCU (Carbon Capture and Utilization) technology in the context of the Interreg project REDII ports.
