It’s full steam ahead for GRITH as plans are being made for a series of knowledge-exchange opportunities. Behind the scenes, the consortium is preparing a number of online meetings, for instance, taking a deeper dive into relevant themes to support the next steps in the project.
Toolbox for strategies
First on the list is a digital workshop to be held on 27th February focusing on Energy Strategies in which our French partner, Pôlénergie, will present their toolbox for creating a local energy blueprint. Part of this exchange, open to all GRITH stakeholders, will be dedicated to added examples from the consortium on how to include industrial sites and business parks in local or regional energy strategies.
A follow-up workshop is also being developed on mapping technological solutions. Here, stakeholders and experts will present insights on current hi-tech answers to support a collective energy transition on industrial sites.
Climate Congress & PM in Mechelen
While these online knowledge exchange sessions have proven very valuable, live meetings are essential in transnational cooperation. Dates have also been set for the next live GRITH Partner Meeting. This will take place in Mechelen on 24th - 25th April and can extend for an extra day to coincide with Mechelen’s Climate Congress. The congress is an event for professionals from various sectors and is fully committed to cooperation and the formation of coalitions during a number of thematic workshops on: Heat & Energy, Circularity, Climate Adaptation and Just Social Transition.
