Multi-user approach in providing alternative fuels

RISE and Brest react actively in WP2 which aims at creating synergies between ports’- and regional- electrification strategies to support the scaleup of zero-emission freight logistics. Brest will demonstrates how energy transformation process in ports can be pushed through better cooperation of stakeholders, by including large port community cluster to find economically and technical feasible green solutions, considering electrification strategies.

A close link to BREST activities will be ensured to develop a testbed and share strategy- and learning experience in a transnational context. RISE will lead the Swedish development of a joint strategy and action plan consisting of improving conditions for utilizing greener transport modes by efficient hinterland terminals/ports in Vänern-region. Electrification strategies will be considered accordingly and where possible synergies being lifted between (inland) ports and regions.
