Norwegian-French Tandem Ventures into New Horizons

Brest'aim and Brest Métropole, two dynamic partners in the Data for All project, recently extended a warm welcome to their partners from the University of Stavanger and the Municipality of Eigersund in Norway. The collaborative event, which took place from 21st to 23rd August 2023 in Brest, offered a platform for innovative discussions and exploration.

In Data for All, Brest and Brest'aim are striving to construct an innovative data infrastructure which combines, processes, and meticulously analyses visitor data sourced from various local sports, leisure, and tourist facilities. The primary aim is twofold: to enrich the tourism offerings while ensuring the ethical and responsible management of visitor data.

During the event, the Norwegian delegation, comprising representatives from the University of Stavanger and the Municipality of Eigersund, experienced an insightful tour of Brest'aim's diverse establishment portfolio. Among the standout locations showcased were the captivating Océanopolis, the vibrant Marinas, and the prestigious Le Quartz—a multifunctional venue serving as both a congress center and a distinguished national platform for artistic performances.

It's worth noting that the University of Stavanger and the Municipality of Eigersund play an integral role as partners within the Data for All project. This event not only fostered knowledge exchange but also strengthened the bonds of this promising Norwegian-French collaboration, propelling them into exciting new horizons of mutual growth and innovation.
