NICE works with businesses, knowledge institutions, regional and local governments on a systemic shift towards circularity.This CTB partner identifies four thematic innovation clusters as key to regional development:

- Waste & Resources
- Agriculture & Food
- Cities & Regions.
With strategic niche management, NICE organizes a collective, cross-sectoral impact in the transition towards a circular economywith a holistic approach, identifying leverage points in the building material value chain and developing the necessary business cases. Resource Flow Mapping is key.

Constructive collaborations
NICE has established initial collaborations between construction and deconstruction enterprises, social housing, development and knowledge institutions. Together with CTB partners Actium and the Province of Drenthe, they build on their Drenthe Woont Circulair (Circular Housing Drenthe) experience.
With experience of transition theory and backcasting, a growing network of enterprises in the building sector, coalitions with launching customers and an expansive stakeholder network, NICE is a valued partner in the CTB consortium. Through participation in Circular Trust Building this agency for innovation can scale its first experiences with Circular Construction and strengthen work on a systemic shift towards circularity.
