Resource-efficient innovation

Linnaeus University believes that open, creative minds are needed for the design and implementation of sustainable innovations for a resource-efficient and sustainable society. They provide a research and educational perspective on the circularity of building materials. Circularity challenges the current model of ’take-make-use-dispose’ of the linear value chain and promotes a re-looped value chain for a more sustainable future.

Analyses, calculations & recommendations

Within the context of the Circular Trust Building project, LNU conducts market analyses, maps the possibility of circularity of various materials generated from renovation and/or construction projects in Kronoberg, calculates carbon footprint, and provides policy recommendations to increase circularity.

Together with the CTB partner GodaHus, the university offers a training for professionals and students on the circularity of building materials.
