Working closely with local DSO Fluvius, Antwerp will pilot solutions for the two big stressors on its increasingly decentralised local grid.
New electric mobility pilots will test energy management software and bidirectional charging infrastructure to reduce stress on the grid at peak charging times.
With support from COPPER partners, the city will further develop the sophistication of its Strategic Energy Vision, including a sustainable district heating infrastructure in its plans.
