The main objective of WP1 is the compilation of an overview of current national-level regulations on chemical emissions from offshore wind farms (OWFs) in the North Sea region. To reach this aim, stakeholders and project partners were contacted in the first year of the Anemoi project (2023) to receive contact points for regulations of OWFs in the different partnering countries. As a follow-up, we approached responsible, national authorities and conducted an online research to collate regulating documents and gather respective information. First results show a varying level of detail for regulations of chemical emissions in the partnering countries but the process is not yet finished and further information will be collected to complete the overview and also provide suggestions for possible harmonisation in the following project periods.
