The growth of source-separated wastewater systems continues, yet knowledge about these systems remains relatively limited. At the Source Separated Sanitation Summit, experts will give you up-to-date examples from Europe.

Ten years ago, IWA Sweden held a seminar on source-separated wastewater systems with the primary aim of gathering international knowledge. Now, we are transitioning from theory to practice – how does it really work?

The program is built around three key themes following the process from framework, technical functionality to the user perspective, adding some number crunching and concluding with a panel debate on the future of source separation.

SUMMIT 2025

The conference will be held June 11-13 2025 in Helsingborg (Sweden). The focus of the event is on showcasing concrete examples of operational source separated wastewater systems in Europe. Within the INTERREG NSR ANCHOR project, 5 sites are operational and currently being further optimized, 2 extended with new pilots and tested. In conclusion, we can not miss it!

Where to find ANCHOR?

Because the focus of the ANCHOR project is on the upscaling of source-separated systems in an urban context, we will contribute with an exhibition booth and be involved in the summit programme.

Meet our team on the exhibition floor and learn from their experiences by participating in different sessions.
