The Interreg NSR project ANCHOR kicked off with a bang! Read the event summary, watch the aftermovie and consult the slides and photos.
On Monday December 11th the ANCHOR project hoisted its sails together with 140 stakeholders to take action for water wise city neighbourhoods. We enjoyed the plans and reflections brought in the panel discussion and presentations, and in the workshop and demo site visit.
A recurrent take-home message? 🗣 "The socio in socio-technological is of vital importance. Communication and information transfer are the biggest bottle neck for circular recovery projects such as ANCHOR."
In Ghent the in-person and online audience of all over Europe (and beyond!) discovered why and how ANCHOR can fuel this transition to decentralised water systems.
âš“ By employing a unique EU demo network in Belgium, the Netherlands, Germany and Sweden, and expanding it with new pilots
âš“ By testing source separation technology, and expanding the network with new pilots
âš“ By mapping the impacts of decentralized water systems in urban areas
âš“ By strongly engaging with stakeholders
âš“ By delivering practical tools and transition knowledge
We hope to have inspired you to boost sustainable innovation by recovering and reusing our precious resources water, energy and nutrients. |
