The growth of source-separated wastewater systems continues, yet knowledge about these systems remains relatively limited. Source Separated Sanitation Summit – European Practices will give you up-to-date examples from Europe.
Ten years ago, IWA Sweden held a seminar on source-separated wastewater systems with the primary aim of gathering international knowledge. Now, we are transitioning from theory to practice – how does it really work?
The program is built around three key themes; following the process from framework, technical functionality to the user perspective, adding some number crunching and concluding with a panel debate on the future of source separation.
Become a part of forward-thinking circular solutions for our society.
The ANCHOR project will contribute to the summit programme in different sessions on these topics:
What makes people accept source separation in their homes?
By ANCHOR project partner Henk-Jan Van Alpen (Researcher at KWR Watercycle Research Institute)
What makes European utilities adapt source separation?
By ANCHOR project partner Elisabeth Kvarnström (Senior consultant Ecoloop & adjunct professor Luleå University of Technology)
Vacuum systems - what works now and what is left to solve?
By Paul Telkamp (project manager technology and wastewater management, specialist New sanitation at TAUW) and ANCHOR project partner Hamse Kjerstadius (Development engineer, NSVA)
Living Labs in Europe - 4 ANCHOR demo cases:
