Oceanhamnen as ANCHOR demo site and pilot
The ANCHOR project investigates five demonstration sites (including 2 new pilots) for source-separating wastewater systems in new urban areas.
One of these pilots is located in southern Sweden, in the coastal city of Helsingborg. The demo Oceanhamnen is a brownfield development of an old harbour into a living and business area in the city centre.
All source-separated wastewater and food waste from Oceanhamnen is decentrally handled and recycled in a facility called RecoLab. RecoLab offers an innovative environment with a focus on urban development in terms of water, waste, energy and recycling. The operations consist of three departments, a development facility, a testbed and an exhibition hall.
Seize your chance to visit this unique infrastructure and explore the demo site with us!
